From my Mondo a Colori series, the fruition of my 2016 road trips through National Parks around the American West.

As a foundation, I took the Fibonacci sequence and created the various blocks based on the run of numbers 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, & 34. Using my skills as a garden designer, I organized a curious layout. Colors for this particular piece were collected while sketching Ocotillo in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, as shown in my colored pencil photograph. All this together creates a Color World.
